Pursuant of sections 25(2) (g) provisions of the NCI Act, 2008, the Commission is responsible for securing and enhancing ethnic and racial harmony and peace through promoting arbitration, conciliation, mediation and similar forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms.
Reconciliation and Integration Department is responsible for engaging, educating and capacity building of key stakeholders to contribute positively to the achievement of the objectives of the Commission. Hence the department spearheads initiatives aimed at policy influence, capacity development and community dialogue.
