The event was officially launched by James Kiprop Yagan, Assistant Country Commissioner for Kariobangi North Division, alongside notable local leaders, including Senior Chief Nashon Caleb Opiyo and Assistant Chief Harrison Mukeka, who stood together like pillars of strength. "Youth are the pillars of peace in our community," declared Commissioner Danvas Makori from the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) during his keynote address at a recent peace walk in Korogocho. His stirring message resonated deeply with the audience, highlighting the vital role that young people play in championing harmony within the area. Com. Makori passionately called upon local law enforcement, particularly the Officer Commanding Station (OCS), to collaborate with the youth, fostering a spirit of teamwork aimed at promoting safety and tranquility.
