- NCIC’s Ethnic and Diversity Audits of Public Universities, Parastatals, and County Governments have contributed to the reduced ethnic, religious and race discrimination in public service.
- The audits have exposed skewed dominance of the public service by Kenya’s largest communities, resulting into specific targeting of ethnic minorities in county recruitments;
- The audits have stimulated public debates and provoke demands for accountability by state institutions on recruitment of staff into public service;
- The audits have also influenced introduction of diversity in public University Councils appointments, as well as ensured the top leadership of a public university, i.e. the Chairman and the Vice Chancellor are not drawn from one ethnic community.
- NCIC developed Amani/Peace club curriculum and rolled it out in the institution of higher learning.
