Liban is a recognized thought leader whose work has shaped Kenya's policy architecture for peace, mediation, and national integration.
Combining academic rigour — holding a Master's in Governance & Development from the University of Sussex (UK) and a BA in International Relations from USIU-Africa — with field-tested expertise, he has influenced governance frameworks, spearheaded multi-million-dollar peacebuilding programmes, and built institutional capacity across government, multilateral, and civil society organizations including UNDP, IGAD, GIZ, Interpeace, and the African Alliance for Peace.
A Ford Foundation International Fellow, Australian Leadership Fellow, Les Aspin Fellow in Good Governance, and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Political Leadership Fellow, he brings credentialed leadership, cross-cultural sensitivity, and a demonstrated ability to translate policy into sustainable peace, healing and reconciliation outcomes.
